Harry Potter – the series that has enchanted a generation and became a classic in film and literature – created a magical world – figuratively and literally – that transcended its humble beginnings, creating a phenomenon that is one of its kind.
The boy who held an unconventional life and suddenly found himself in a new world where ‘he didn’t belong’ or was regarded as the ‘outsider’ or ‘misfit’, among his similarly ‘misfit’ group of friends, into becoming a hero. The misfits who blend in at Hogwarts but are suddenly the odd balls in the “real world”. Harry Potter identifies with the misfits. Let’s face it, I am a misfit and that is why I identify with Harry Potter because the ones who don’t fit in are the ones who will change the world someday!
Embracing your own unique persona is the real power and magic that ripples into the world and has the power to change it. The magic of Harry Potter shows us you don’t have to fit in to be extraordinary in life. Being different is powerful, but you have to find people who accept your differences like Harry did at Hogwarts. Find your version of Hogwarts and you will find your group of friends. Because I feel like a wizard in a muggle world. I feel like people see the world one way and I see it another but Harry Potter shows us we are accepted in our own way that is when we can make a difference we just have to find the right group of people who accept you for you. Finding a community that embraces your differences is key to making a meaningful impact. Harry Potter’s journey from misfit to hero inspires the idea that those who don’t fit in are the ones who can change the world.
